Move, stack, and store material and finished products. Operate forklift daily, as needed. Keep work area clean and neat throughout the shift. Supply machines with required and correct materials. Communicate with Production Coordinator daily. Respond to line breaks and board buckles. Place finished products in designated rows neatly and evenly. Requirements for Material Handler | General Laborer: High School Diploma with previous manufacturing facility experience is preferred. Desire and ability to grow into positions of greater responsibility will also be evaluated. Basic math skills required. Accurately document and follow SOPs. Follow all ZES/IES procedures according to specifications. Proficient in the safe use of utility knives, hand and automatic banders, band cutters, staple gun, shrink wrapper and radial saw. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required. Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs The volume of work requires the handling of multiple tasks on multiple products.
