We’re looking for a Customer Acquisition Specialist whose primary focus is opening new
accounts, not maintaining existing ones. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys
prospecting, starting conversations, and turning interest into first orders.
The Role
The Customer Acquisition Specialist is responsible for new business development across
inbound and outbound channels. You’ll identify potential customers, initiate outreach, educate
prospects on our product offerings, and convert qualified leads into active accounts.
Once an account is successfully onboarded, it transitions to an Account Manager or Client
Services partner — allowing you to stay focused on what you do best: bringing in new
business.
Key Responsibilities
● Prospect and engage potential new customers via calls, emails, texts, and inbound leads
● Qualify prospects to ensure strong product and business fit
● Educate new customers on product offerings, pricing structures, and ordering processes
● Drive first orders and successful account activation
● Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking
● Meet or exceed weekly and monthly acquisition targets
● Collaborate with Account Management and Client Services for smooth handoff
post-onboarding
● Stay informed on product updates, promotions, and compliance requirements
What Success Looks Like
● Consistent new account creation
● Strong conversion from lead → first order
● Clean, complete CRM activity and documentation
● Proactive outreach and follow-up habits
● Reliable handoffs with minimal friction
What We’re Looking For
● 1–3+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or business development
(Preferred, not required)
● Comfortable with outbound sales activity and high-volume outreach
● Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
● Goal-driven, competitive, and motivated by results
● Organized, coachable, and receptive to feedback
● Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
● CPG, wholesale, or regulated-industry experience is a plus
